Most people are familiar with using plumbing snakes, which work by pushing through clogs deep in your pipes using the path of least resistance. The problem with snakes is that they only create small openings in the clogs without fully removing the build-up causing the blockage. This is where hydro jetting technology stands out.
Hydrojetting uses high-pressure water to completely remove blockages from the inner walls of your pipes, effectively clearing away stubborn debris, grease, and roots. Unlike traditional methods, hydro jetting thoroughly cleans your pipes, reducing the chances of recurring clogs. Once your drain is cleared with hydro jetting, you can enjoy longer-lasting results and peace of mind.
After clearing your drain, our plumbers will use a high-quality RIDGID drain camera to inspect and capture detailed images of your pipes. This allows us to determine the cause of the blockage accurately. If we detect any damage, such as a break in the pipe, we’ll pinpoint the exact location of the issue.
We can then discuss repair options with you, including excavating and fixing the damaged pipe or providing you with a detailed quote for the necessary work. Our goal is to offer you a clear understanding of the problem and ensure you receive the most effective solution.

If your kitchen sink is blocked, it may be due to a grease or fat build-up. One effective solution is to pour a pot of boiling water down the drain. This often helps loosen or dissolve the blockage without needing harsher methods.
However, only use boiling water on metal or ceramic pipes, as the high temperature can damage PVC pipes by loosening their joints.
For PVC pipes, use hot tap water instead. This approach works well for grease or food residue but may not be effective for solid blockages.
You can make your own drain cleaner using bicarbonate of soda (baking soda) and white vinegar. Pour the bicarbonate of soda into the drain first, followed by the vinegar, and cover the drain to keep the mixture from bubbling out.
The reaction between the bicarbonate and vinegar creates oxygen, which helps scrub the inside of the pipes. You may need to repeat this process a few times to completely clear the blockage.
Once the mixture has done its job, flush the pipes with hot water to remove any leftover residue.
A plunger can be just as effective at clearing a blocked drain as it is with a clogged toilet.
Before you start plunging, make sure to cover any overflow spouts to create a strong seal.
The up-and-down motion of the plunger helps loosen blockages, allowing water to flow smoothly through the pipes.
Plunging works best for solid blockages but is less effective on grease build-up.
